I'm usually on the planning end of an event and RARELY have I attended a conference as a participant.
It's taken me a couple of days to digest the immense amount of information I attempted to take in over the two days. I was so exhausted after the second day that when my 4 year old fell out of bed and cried out for me at 11pm I didn't wake up (very un-like me). I drifted off to dreamland with words bouncing around my head like:
Engage Connect *Brand
What did I take away from this 2-day blog-fest (other than some AMAZING swag from some AMAZING sponsors)?
I learned that I'm not crazy for thinking I can do this as a full time job (Husband: my tongue is sticking out at YOU); and I discovered that I'm not alone.
I put faces to twitter handles and met some of the amazing ladies I'd connected with online. If not for She's Connected, I never would have had an opportunity to meet like-minded bloggers.
Julia Suppa from Simply Suppa has a great Top 10 List of things she learned at the conference. If you blog, I encourage you to check it out: Simply Suppa
Thank you to the awesome sponsors of this event, to the organizers and to my husband for (so far) putting up with the amount of time I spend in front of a screen...
